Beca’s Care Support Program

Our Beca’s Care Program provides financial resources to families going through a devastating diagnosis of Stage III/IV metastatic Melanoma.

We offer financial assistance to help pay for such things as medical bills, transportation to and from doctor appointments, utilities, or groceries. We want you to focus on your healthcare, not your bills.

The families that are being supported by our program become part of our Blackout Melanoma family. We are with you, to not only provide financial support but emotional support as well.
Beca would always say, “Together we can educate, together we can provide hope, and together we can save lives.”

Beca’s Care Program

Beca’s Care Bags

Aneta and Beca were traveling so much during Beca’s brave fight against metastatic Melanoma; from different doctor appointments, trying new treatments, and hospital stays.

They realized as they traveled to and from appointments that there were little things that could have made their travels and hospital stays just a bit more bearable. So they started a “Beca’s Care Bag”.  They brought this care bag with them to all of their appointments. Simple items such as lotion and lip balm to help ease Beca’s dry skin, a blanket to keep her warm during treatment, or a beanie to cover her head when she started to lose her hair, a small pillow to support her head, or perhaps a snack or bottled water.

Aneta always tried to make the rooms she stayed in feel more like home by adding lamps and pictures, but it was these simple items that they reached for the most.

Aneta’s Vision

It was always Aneta’s vision to launch a Beca’s Care bag program to help give others the same comfort she gave to Beca as she fought this devastating disease.

We are happy to announce that her vision has come to life and this December we are providing and distributing Beca’s Care Bags to patients in local area hospitals that are currently going through treatment for Melanoma. Helping to provide some comfort items and comforting words to let them know that they are not alone in their fight.

If you are interested in helping by donating items to our bags, sponsoring our bags, or even just making a donation to go toward this program please visit our website to learn more. You may also reach out to for more information.
