Liberty Tax Manchester and Blackout Melanoma to Team Up to Raise Funds, End Melanoma
Liberty Tax Service – Manchester West County was a partner with Blackout Melanoma, a not-for-profit whose mission is to educate, advocate, and provide resources to secure a generation free of Melanoma. The Manchester Liberty Tax office will donate to 10 percent of its tax preparation fees collected March 13 – 19 to Blackout Melanoma.
“Melanoma kills an estimated 9,710 people in the U.S. annually,” said Aneta Campos, Founder and President of Blackout Melanoma. “If melanoma is recognized and treated early, it is almost always curable. Our hope is to one day blackout melanoma.”
Blackout Melanoma uses its donations to provide education, research and support. The organization offers emotional and financial support to individuals diagnosed with Stage III or IV metastatic melanoma.
