Dear Spring Breakers

Spring break is a wonderful time of year.  A week off from school or work is just what we all need after this long and cold winter.  It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to enjoy the sunshine. I know how much being out in the sun can make everything better. And I know how beautiful you feel when you skin is golden tan. I also know you want to look young and beautiful for years to come.  You can do both, although you must recognize that your skin has a memory and damaging it now can come back to haunt you later in life.

In the beautiful memory of my gorgeous niece Rebeca Campos, I want to help educate you about the dangers of UV rays.  Beca’s prayer was that we could someday have a generation free of melanoma.  While working to fullfill Beca’s prayer, mine is that it will never happen to you.  I share these links with love and concern for your health.  Please take the time to watch these videos and help learn to protect yourself – and remember to spread the message to help blackout melanoma for good!

Have a terrific and safe spring break – and remember the sunscreen!
