Thank you for helping us reach these crucial milestones and we hope you will continue to walk with us every year! The vision for Beca’s Five fun run is that it may serve as a special opportunity where people can gather to, as Beca would say, “be aware, take time to share, show that you care”. Even in the face of stage IV metastatic melanoma, this inspiring young lady envisioned a society where no one else encounters this dangerous diagnosis – a Melanoma FREE generation! She felt passionately about raising awareness of this aggressive form of skin cancer, about education that can save lives through prevention, about supporting melanoma patients taking these steps toward more effective treatments, and providing hope, and lastly about research through and with our Fellowship Program at Washington University. “We are Running the Race, Keeping the Faith”. It has been an honor to carry forward Beca’s legacy in this way, and we thank you for helping to make her Mission for Blackout Melanoma a reality.
Together we can educate, Together we can provide hope, Together we can save lives.
